Senior Consultant Application Management (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. Senior Consultant Application Management (m/w/d) From now on and in full time to occupy at one of our BWI locations. The Application Management section provides 2nd level support in all aspects of IT support for processes of personnel management with the customer, with the aim of ensuring ongoing operation. These include the acquisition of projects in operation and the further development of applications.

Coordination and control of application management for various IT systems in human resources

Ensuring smooth incident and problem management in coordination with relevant disciplines and support in release and patch management

Creation of transparent reporting and statistics on the documentation and follow-up of application management

Responsibility for the planning, implementation and transfer of product updates to ongoing operation

Monitoring and control of dependencies and risks within the application environments

Ensuring the functionality and optimization of the supervised applications and processes

Independent implementation of communication and information measures to achieve the objectives set

Promoting cross-departmental cooperation through technical coordination with internal and external partners

Analysis and coordination of customer requirements and their implementation in innovative solutions

Complete studies with IT references (e.g. computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering) or a comparable qualification i.V.m. 6 years of experience in application management Funded knowledge in the coordination and control of IT processes, including incident and problem management, release and patch management and risk assessment Practical experience in the production and maintenance of technical documentation and the preparation of reports and statistics experience in the planning and implementation of updates and their transfer to the company, including compliance with agreed objectives Designed analytical skills to assess customer requirements and their technical feasibility Team skills and experience in cross-disciplinary cooperation, combined with the ability to clearly communicate technical and technical topics A structured, solution-oriented approach and a high degree of self-initiative and reliability Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
