IT / OT Network & Security Architect

We are looking for you as an IT/OT network & Security Architect:in (w/m/d) for DB Bahnbau Group GmbH at the Berlin site. Your tasks:

For a high-availability, innovative and secure IT and OT infrastructure in the DB Bahnbau Group, you will ensure trouble-free, resilient and secure operation of the company network with your measures. In doing so, you strategically control the systematic further development and sustainable maintenance of infrastructure and security architectures as part of the digital transformation and become active at implementation level You implement the requirements for the availability, stability and resilience of all network and infrastructure components In your role, you design and realize automation solutions (e.g. scripting, ansible, infrastructure as code) You are administering and developing Linux-based systems and infrastructure platforms as well as complementary Windows server environments and actively bringing your technical expertise into the further development of infrastructure and platform architectures (On-Prem / Cloud / Hybrid) You also tax external service providers (the selection of measures and the implementation of measures) internal teams and supports procurement processes as well as asset, license and contract management

Your profile:

The basis of your success is a completed study as a computer scientist:in, electrical engineer:in, automation engineer:in or a comparable qualification through relevant professional experience Your expertise includes very good knowledge of infrastructure management and/or experience in network technologies and components (including LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewall and VPN technologies, DHCP, DNS, QoS/VoIP, 802.1X) and relevant network protocols/methods (e.g. MPLS) In previous roles, you have successfully adopted a strategic position in addition to the operational perspective and created innovative and sustainable IT infrastructures within the framework of complex IT projects. Ideally, you are already very experienced in the selection and control of (external) service managers:inside and partner:inside The application of IT governance and IT security requirements, their further development and implementation or implementation instructions are perfectly familiar to you – also from a professionally leading role You are convinced of the implementation strength, address-oriented, clear communication, high innovative strength and strategic vision In addition to very good knowledge of German and English, you will bring a class B driver's license and a readiness to travel
