Technical Work Preparation / Deputy Production Management

For our clients in the metal construction industry, we are looking exclusively for an employee (m/w/d) in the technical work preparation for sheet metal and metal production, which is also used as an assistant production manager.

For more than 100 years, the family-run Ulmer steel and metal construction company has been an experience in steel, stainless steel, and aluminium constructions and offers individual planning, precise production and timely assembly of steel construction, industrial assembly and sheet metal processing for large industries in the Ulm and region with certified welding methods according to ISO 9001 and EN 1090. Operation and programming CNC-controlled folding presses (Trumpf & Amada) for precise, drawing-oriented production of serial parts Manufacture of parts according to technical drawings, regular measurement controls and ensuring product quality Creation and adaptation of CNC programs to the machines and implementation of care and cleaning work Collection of relevant production data in the computer system and support of production line and construction Working in the preparation of work, including production documents, production charts and post-calculations Support for material procurement, appointment and communication with suppliers Continuous optimization of workflows together with the production team

Complete technical training, ideally in metal construction, sheet metal processing or mechanical engineering, as well as experience in CNC manufacturing Safe handling of folding presses (Trumpf, Amada), technical drawings and measuring devices Basic knowledge of CAD systems (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and good MS Office skills Careful, reliable and solution-oriented working and team skills Basic leadership experience desired (team or assembly line)
