Data Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Data Platform Engineer, you are responsible for building and developing modern cloud platforms for Data & AI. You work with technologies from the Microsoft Azure environment and create platforms that can be scalable, safe and sustainable. In detail, you will be with us... Cloud-based Data & AI platforms design, build and continuously develop develop and implement platform strategies together with our customers design scalable and robust platform architectures that serve as the basis for data-driven solutions deploying modern cloud infrastructures with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM) automatically Make architectural decisions and establish best practices for sustainable platform solutions Define reusable platform blueprints and standards ensure that platforms are optimally set up in terms of performance, security, governance and scalability Support data and AI teams through stable and powerful platforms

You work structured, think in data architectures and implement solutions cleanly. Ideally you bring: sound experience in building modern cloud infrastructures and platform architectures very good knowledge in a cloud platform (ideally Microsoft Azure) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, ARM, Bicep) a good understanding of scalable, secure and manageable system architectures Experience with technologies in the Data & AI environment (e.g. Databricks, Fabric, Data Factory) basic knowledge of software development (e.g. Python, Scala) as well as in the handling of APIs and automation a completed study of computer science, economic informatics or a comparable qualification the ability to quickly incorporate you into new technologies and use them in a targeted manner excellent knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
