About the company

My client is a well-known, economically stable and regionally rooted company with about 200 employees. The broad portfolio of services includes important tasks in the field of public services, as well as individual solutions for commercial and industrial customers. IT is not only supporting, but a strategic success factor. I am therefore looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist (m/w/d) for a challenging IT environment with high requirements for availability, automation and cyber resilience - both experienced and development-ready candidates are welcome. You maintain and develop the existing server and system landscape (Windows/Linux) You take over the administration of Active Directory, Exchange OnPrem, MS SQL, Oracle and Terminal Servers You are responsible for the virtualization environment (VMware), patch management, software distribution and monitoring You operate backup and recovery solutions (Veeam) and actively participate in IT security issues You are moving in a hybrid IT environment (Lokal onPrem & Cloud) with the focus onPrem You automate processes using PowerShell and support network management You bring themselves into IT projects for digitalization, the use of AI and security optimization

You have experience in system administration, ideally in complex IT environments You bring sound knowledge in Windows and at best Linux servers, virtualization and network technologies with You have know-how in the areas of Active Directory, Exchange, SQL databases and IT security At best you know tools like VMware, Veeam, Baramundi, PRTG and are happy to work automatically You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing
