As a software architect, you take responsibility for the design, implementation and maintenance of complex IT systems with focus on scalable solutions for high-performance computing and hybrid cloud models The definition and further development of architectural components as well as the technical prototyping are your everyday life to ensure feasibility and quality You support decision-makers with sound analyses and ensure clear communication between all stakeholders to achieve common goals Advice on best practices and new technologies as well as identifying improvements for robustness and wartability are an important part of your role The entire technical design process is your responsibility – from documentation to risk management Quality, security and compliance are at the centre of your work, while you support DevOps methods through automation and efficient workflows Advice means flexibility: Your project work depends on our customers and your project situation – you work throughout Germany in our offices, on-site customers and at home

You bring at least five years of experience in the design and implementation of complex IT architectures Experienced with Scientific Computing, especially in Python environments, Jupyter Notebooks, Data Tagging/Classification Finding knowledge of cluster Linux environments (RHEL) as well as a solid basic understanding of computer architectures, networks and operating systems You have detectable expertise in the integration of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Podman, Apptainer/Singularity) and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible Knowledge of the integration of LDAP/SSSD, Active Directory and LSF also belong to your repertoire You have excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills and secure stakeholder management With your communication, presentation and negotiation capabilities as well as your expertise in creating architecture documentation and diagrams according to standards such as ARCHIMATE or UML, you are well positioned Very good German skills (from C1 level) and English skills complete your profile
