TÜV Rheinland Forschungs- und Innovationsmanagement GmbH (TRFI) is part of TÜV Rheinland People & Business Assurance. Together with our customers, we ensure technological and social progress. As a project manager*in research funding (w/m/d), you are part of the interdisciplinary team of our research management team. We support contracting entities in the management of research and infrastructure funding, in particular in the areas of mobility, transport and digitalisation. We act as an interface between politics, public administration, business and science. Our support includes, in particular, the commercial and legal examination and support of funded projects. Yours? You advise on all questions of application and project execution within the framework of the Federal Research Fund and examine the use of the funds allocated. You take the formal and calculatory examination of applications for grants and accompanying documentation. You independently process complex commercial matters and evaluate the creditworthiness of companies as part of the application review. In all phases of the project life cycle, you are constantly communicating with different actors, even at a high level of entrepreneurship, and are responsible for the business and administrative support of research projects. Through your use in the planning, realization, support and testing of projects, you can qualify for the use as a subproject managerin or project managerin in research management.

Completed commercial studies, studies in the field of public administration or a comparable degree programme Ideally practical knowledge in the fields of accounting or controlling Knowledge in the fields of right to grant and administrative law or willingness to further train you in the course of your activity Ability to present commercial and legal facts concisely and intelligibly, as well as pleasure in writing relevant audit documentation Analytical thinking, very good numerical understanding, independent, systematic and efficient working methods as well as a safe and eager appearance German language skills in word and writing
