The SOS Children's Village Essen is one of the most recent locations of the SOS Children's Village. In April 2016, facilities were created to accommodate unaccompanied minor refugees. In January 2018, the SOS Children's Village Centre established itself with an open neighbourhood café, various forms of social group work for children aged 6-15 and another group of homes. District-oriented work for children, young people and their families shapes the offer in Essen.

Our KiTa Knifte in Essen-Stoppenberg provides 113 seats for children from 4 months onwards, which are spread over two locations (Main House & Naturhof).
