The Joachim Herz Foundation was founded in 2008 in Hamburg and is one of the major German foundations. With the activities in our “Entrepreneurial thinking and acting” cluster, we want to contribute to the creation of more innovative companies in Germany, especially from science. We promote entrepreneurship in the service of society and support the development of sustainable business models that help to solve the major problems of our time. With our projects, we want to awaken entrepreneurial spirit to enable young scientists (m/w/d) and strengthen the overall German ecosystem for start-ups from science. For the support and further development of existing projects and for the development of new formats, we are looking for you, at the next possible time, in full time (40 hours/week), at first 2 years, in Hamburg as: Projektmanager (m/w/divers) Start-up promotion, entrepreneurship, technology transfer

Conception, implementation, accompaniment and evaluation of (promoting)projects in the cluster, in particular to develop entrepreneurial mindsets and entrepreneurial competencies among doctoral students (m/w/d), post-doctoral and scientists (m/w/d), e.g. the Add-on Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Science and Transfer to develop new methods and innovative approaches to support spin-offs from science in the field of economic research, in particular on innovation policy issues

Working on publications on topics of the cluster Representation of the Cluster / the Foundation at events in the Hamburg start-up ecosystem and at national conferences on technology transfer and on science-based entrepreneurship

At least 3-5 years of work experience, know-how in the fields of technology transfer, start-up management, own start-up experience or practice from a start-up is advantageous Complete economics studies or studies with strong economics and ideally doctoral studies in economics, preferably with reference to the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, technology transfer Knowledge of German and European university and research landscape Entrepreneurial, strategic mindset Ability to develop clear target images and structured concepts Feeling for relevant trends and the competence to identify and implement innovative approaches proactively Independent, structured and agile mode of operation Teamplayer Embossed communicative skills Safe German and English in Word and Writing
