Design the energy supply of Kiel – responsibly and sensibly! As part of our dedicated team, you play a key role in the secure and reliable supply of electricity and heat to the region. Other tasks: With technical know-how and economic vision, you plan the availability of our systems and monitor their optimal use. You are responsible for the production of electricity and district heating in the coastal power plant and other production units and ensure compliance with the schedules for electricity and district heating generation. You control the heating and heating power plants as well as the coastal power plant and bear responsibility for the employees of the service layer. Production deviations, for example due to weather influences or disturbances, manage professionally. You coordinate the switching on and off of technical installations, accompany the use of foreign companies and carefully document the measures taken. You have completed training for technicians or masters (m/w/d) in the field of electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience. Ideally, you are electric power with medium voltage switching authorization and bring advanced knowledge in heat generation, distribution and in power plant and district heating system operation. Knowledge in the field of energy management and in the handling of energy-efficient power plant optimization systems is advantageous, but no prerequisite. In addition to the safe handling of MS Office, you will ideally bring user experience to SAP-AIS or are ready to work quickly into this system. In addition, you have very good knowledge of German in word and writing as well as basic knowledge of English. Your readiness for use in 24/7 layer operation with short, pleasant layer rhythms completes your profile.
