You take emergency calls and help requests and immediately meet the decision to alert the workers of the professional fire brigade Freiburg and the volunteer fire brigade, the rescue service, the specialist services (THW, DRK, etc.) and the disaster protection. If necessary, notify and inform other services and facilities. You process fire alarms and noise messages as well as weather/weather warnings and flood reports.

You have one of the following qualifications: A completed training as rescue assistantin or emergency medical assistantin A completed training as a nursing specialist or health care and nursing professionalin and further education for/to the rescue medical specialistin A completed training as a medical specialist and further training as a rescue assistant.

Ideally, you have current professional experience in the rescue service. You contribute the willingness to the later qualification for the middle fire-fighting service and meet the health requirements associated with it for the service of the professional firefighter. You have a class B driving permit and ideally a completed training for the group leader*in to FwDV2 or higher quality training. You have the personal skills for the exercise of this profession with a strong team capability, a secure appearance, high communication skills and independent, address and customer-oriented action.

A fixed-term employment relationship with payment by pay group 8 TVöD. Depending on the existence of the personal conditions, the further qualification for the middle fire-fighting service is provided with the possibility of a later takeover into the civil service.
