The MEDIAN Saale Klinik Bad Kösen I is a specialist clinic for orthopaedics and psychosomatics, set up according to the most modern aspects and has 218 beds. It is covered by pension insurance companies, health insurance companies and professional associations for rehabilitation measures (HV) and follow-up treatments (AHB).

The Department of Psychosomatics is located in the clinic area specially equipped for the requirements of psychosomatic rehabilitation. The medical team is structured and includes a chief physician, two senior physicians psychosomatics as well as four station physicians, i.e. ideal conditions for a senior physician with clear responsibilities and short decision-making paths. The optimised room structure and the use of generous therapy facilities, including physiotherapy and ergotherapy, physical therapy, medical training therapy, creative therapy as well as a sports and indoor swimming pool, provide excellent framework conditions for effective psychosomatic therapy and stationary rehabilitation at a high level. The close cooperation with the orthopaedic rehabilitation department creates valuable interdisciplinary synergies that offer an exciting and versatile field of work, especially for psychosomatic senior physicians. Modern digital systems, including computer-assisted therapy planning, digital evidence documentation and epicrisis exposure, significantly relieve the medical service and create more time for therapeutic work.

Approbation as a doctor (m/w/d) Specialist medical certificate in one of the following areas: psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Internal medicine or general medicine with additional name Psychotherapie medizin/r Psychotherapeut/in (m/w/d) or proof of a planned medical certificate within the next 4-6 months
