We are looking for a specialist coordinator in social services for families (m/w/d) at the town of Ulm in the Department of Social Affairs for Central Administration Full-time, fixed-term The place is first terminated as a parental leave with subsequent parental leave until 30.09.2027. In addition, the place concerns the areas of child protection, nursing children and adoption. The Department of Social Affairs (SO) organizes the services of youth and social assistance in the University city of Ulm as part of a decentralized social space concept. The Central Administration of the Department of Social Affairs (SO/ZV) is a service provider for the social spaces and ensures a uniform and targeted management of the department. The payment is made up to the pay group 11 TVöD, pay group S17 TVöD-SuE with a temporary allowance up to pay group 12 TVöD or Group S18 TVöD-SuE.

Your tasks: Ensuring legal, efficient and targeted provision of services for clients technical management of the social services sector for families (including UMA), child protection agency, nursing and adoption services Planning, development and implementation of projects and offers in close cooperation, in particular with the planning of youth assistance and the technical coordination Optimisation of quality standards, concepts, cooperation agreements and new procedures, including the creation of service instructions, action guides and work aids, as well as the evaluation and assurance of compliance with specified standards professional support of selection, decision-making and negotiation processes, e.g. personnel selection, performance and pay negotiations

Your profile: completed studies of social work or social education (diploma, Bachelor) or a comparable qualification well-founded knowledge of social legislation, the concept of social space orientation and the method of case management for controlling individual case aids theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the management of individual cases in the context of performance and child protection pronounced communication, cooperation and conflictability as well as a high level of sensitivity Negotiations and organisational skills, enforcement capacity and clear target and solution orientation independent, structured and solution-oriented operation and safe handling of digital specialist and management systems
