We are looking for full time Specialist - Network Operation Fiber Optic Infrastructure w/m/d R-KOM is provider of Internet, telephone and TV in East Bavaria and builds the fiber optic network of the future. Every year we develop over 10,000 units in more than 1,000 buildings - a challenging task. You contribute to the further growth and success of R-KOM with your commitment.

You ensure a stable and trouble-free operation of our passive fiber optic network You plan and accompany network rebuilds and support network documentation and splicing plans You carry out OTDR measurements, evaluate them and take care of trouble analysis and troubleshooting You coordinate disorders and maintenance, inspection and maintenance You take over the technical acceptance of new network sections as well as the work preparation and deployment planning You tax external service providers (e.g. civil engineering, LWL assembly) and ensure the quality of services

You have completed training in the field of electrical engineering (e.g. IT system electronics or comparable) You ideally have experience in operating FTTx fiber optic networks (NE3/NE4) You have knowledge of OTDR measurement technology, splicing technology and error analysis and location You're sure to deal with network documentation systems and MS Office You work structured, show your own initiative and convince by the strength of communication and enforcement You have a class B licence and are ready to participate in a remunerated readiness
