As an application and infrastructure manager*in, you secure the stable and sustainable IT operation of the city administration and actively develop our IT infrastructure. You work at the interface between networks, data centers, IT basic services and application management. On the basis of your professional orientation, you perform the following tasks: ensuring the operation, maintenance and development of urban firewall and network infrastructure and communications networks or operation, monitoring and further development of the data center infrastructure (server, storage, databases) including cloud and hybrid solutions or the operation of central IT basic services and support of application management using modern DevOps technologies but also the concept developments, security and data protection projects as well as documentation of operations and security processes in cooperation with internal and external partners and support for digitalisation and innovation projects

Studies. Complete university studies with a regular period of at least 6 semesters (Bachelor or FH Diploma), for example in:Informatik Business information Education Physics Information technology

Experience. A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience based on the required pre- and training is required. Speciality. Knowledge required (depending on specialization) in the areas:knowledge in managing a data center, firewall and network infrastructure Comprehensive knowledge in application management Knowledge or manufacturer certification Knowledge with cloud infrastructures as well as integration management and the definition and implementation of IT security measures in the context of IT architecture (by BSI ground protection) Wide knowledge of modern architectural approaches Experience in the IT of local employers of the same order

Your knowledge must be demonstrated by certificates, trainings, certificates or manufacturer certifications. There are also some on-site appointments. A class B licence is necessary for this.
