Social Pedagogue / Pedagogue / Educator (m/f/d)

For our project "Sozialcoach" at Siegen we are looking for you in parttime (19.5 hours /week)

Your tasks

• You give new life and career prospects to young people who have difficulty finding the job market. • You build a trust relationship with the participants and accompany them in the long term and individually through weekly individual coaching and consultations. • You will conduct the conversations in a looking manner (e.g. as a house visit, walk & talk or appointment accompaniment) or at the gsm site. • In order to make the participants easier to move into the labour market, you create a regional network with companies (e.g. for internships) and social institutions (e.g. debt counselling). • You keep contact with our contacts: inside the job center and document the progress of your participants.

Your profile

• Study or vocational qualification in the social field, e.g. as a social pedagogue, social worker, pedagogue, medical pedagogue/ rehabilitation pedagogue/special education or state-approved educator (w/m/d) • Valuable handling of people in difficult situations • Willingness to regional mobility for the looking work (drive permit and passenger car necessary, the travel costs are refunded by us) and crisis intervention • Openness for digital communication (e.g. MS teams, digital coaching platforms) and good self-organization • experience in advising people in need of assistance, ideally with people looking for work

In the project at the location in Siegen, you coach the job-seeking participants looking for or at the gsm location. The participants are young people who are supposed to be socially inclusive. The concept of these projects allows you to work the freedom, holistic, individual and creative with the participants. Coaching means that the participants come back to work themselves and thus experience self-reality. This is how gsm – to make it together!
