Asset Management Engineer (f/m/d)

As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. We create the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the high-voltage network according to needs. With our network, we not only make the country an innovative power turntable in the heart of Europe, but also make the energy system of the future significant. The Operational Asset Management division acts as an internal contractor for network projects at TransnetBW. It plans, among other things, the regional target network necessary for the implementation of the energy transition in Baden-Württemberg, intermediate networks and renewal requirements in the transmission network and in the existing network. These plans are incorporated into development concepts for the substations and management systems and are transferred to projects. In portfolio management, we ensure the overall overview, plan, prioritize and control the project landscape.

You are developing the TransnetBW asset management system. Thanks to your extensive know-how, you can identify process and technical improvements along the life cycle of the network assets and implement their implementation at TransetBW. You define technical and process requirements of asset management for the planning, implementation and operation of technical installations of the power transmission network. You agree on your approaches across departments and make decisions to improve the value chain. You assume special conceptual and technical tasks in the asset management of the existing plants.

You have completed engineering/technical studies and knowledge of the life cycle of infrastructure facilities (preferably in the power transmission network). Multiannual professional experience in the field of energy networks and asset management, ideally complemented by knowledge in process and project management, are also on your own. Complex, cross-disciplinary relationships can be analyzed, properly combined and communicating. You can use your technical and methodological knowledge in a targeted, practice-oriented and address-oriented manner. A class B licence, good English skills and occasional readiness to travel complete your profile.
