The UKSH is the largest emergency medical institute in Schleswig-Holstein and an important guarantee for high-quality emergency care at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein. The IRuN is responsible for the quality assurance of internal clinical emergency medicine at UKSH and advises UKSH and external organisations with experience and competencies in pre- and internal clinical emergency and intensive care as well as disaster medicine. We have a modern training and simulation center for our rescue service school and for a variety of emergency medical training, training and further training. In addition, the IRuN is interdisciplinary in research projects, studies and externally funded projects. With many years of expertise, we conduct national and international scientific events in the field of emergency medicine.

This is what awaits you:

• Conception and revision of innovative training and simulation formats

• Function as a specialist lecturer/dozent in training and simulation trainings as well as mutual representation of the medical colleagues of the institute

• Professional and organizational management of pre- and intraclinical medical training

• Participation in the emergency medical and intensive transport service of the Landeshauptstadt Kiel

• In the case of interest, participation in scientific projects of the Institute and option for doctoral studies or Habilitation in the field of emergency medicine

Take this with you:

• Complete specialist training for anaesthesiology, surgery, internal medicine, paediatrics, neurology or another subject related to emergency medicine

• Qualification as an emergency doctor and extensive experience in pre- and intra-clinical emergency care

• Teaching experience, detected by, for example, instructor activity in ERC, DIVI ANNA courses or trauma management

• Very good communication skills

• Class B driving licence or C1
