The Department of Application Systems of the Central University IT at Bielefeld University has a position as IT administrator:in Active Directory (hybrid) and Exchange Online In various HSBI projects and projects, the organization is continuously digitized and the service offer is optimized. For central IT, this means growing challenges in providing modern, user-friendly and safe application architectures. With technical expertise, the Application Systems department supports the design of processes, the selection and introduction of software products as well as the reliable and secure operation taking into account information security and data protection requirements. The department works closely with other institutions of the university (e.g. administration, departments, departments) as well as national and nationwide networks to develop its support offering.

You are responsible for the administration of the local Active Directory incl. Hybrid connection to Entra ID (Entra Connect). You implement information security and compliance requirements. You support us in the operation of Exchange Online and the further development of central processes in the e-mail context (e.g. distributors, recovery, mail delivery of software systems). You contribute to further tasks of the department, in particular in the context of IAM and M365. You work in first and second level support, especially to support our internal and external security surgery center.

You have completed a vocational training with IT reference or You have a comparable qualification with several years of professional practice in IT system operation. You have already gained first experience in the operation of Active Directory (hybrid, Entra ID) or Exchange Online. You know modern authentication methods and their fields of application. Teamability and flexibility, independent and structured working methods, service- and result-oriented understanding of tasks distinguish you.
