As a (senior) test engineer, you are working on PLAIN, a data analysis and AI platform that forms the basis for data engineering projects in a multi-edge setup. This includes the construction of the technical infrastructure as an on-premise solution in the data center and the development or Integration of existing software systems for virtualization, containerization, automation and monitoring. PLAIN stands for “Platform Analysis and Information System”. With PLAIN, we enable our customers to use data for political decision-making and to professionalize the efficient work with data. Proactive cooperation with the development team in agile context Creation of Test Code/Glue Code for BDD Testing and Code for Test Automation Responsibility for the reporting of test results as well as for the care and improvement of existing test cases and the workflow Creation, care and improvement of test cases Technical support in the integration of test tools Preparation of test data and setup of mosquito systems Conducting acceptance tests in the sprint and regression tests for sprinting

Complete study of computer science or a comparable discipline as well as well as well-founded experience in the development and documentation of test cases in terms of functionality, API, performance, integration and usability Experience with unit and infrastructure testing in the container and development environment Secure knowledge of microservices tests in complex architectures with CI/CD structure and pipelines, e.g. Gitlab pipeline/Jenkins, and basic knowledge of DevOps activities Comprehensive know-how in the field of test automation, behavior driven testing as well as in frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright Knowledge in the programming language Python for the design and implementation of functional and non-functional compliance & API tests Experience in agile projects (Scrum) and with ticket management and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence) Practical experience with component, acceptance, integration, load and stress tests, debugging and performance measurements as well as tools such as Postman or SoapUI Good German knowledge (at least B2 level)
