In your function, you act as a central interface between finance & controlling, IT and data management You data-intensive processes more efficient, transparent and sustainable Actively advance the development and implementation of future-oriented IT and data solutions as well as the data strategy in finance & controlling In this context, you analyze and evaluate the need for new software, data and IT solutions taking into account the existing system landscape You translate technical requirements from finance & controlling in IT and data-related solutions You agree to the area-specific IT and data requirements with the company-wide architectural, infrastructure and governance requirements You coordinate and control IT projects in the area of finance & controlling. In addition, managers advise on investment, make-or-buy and architecture decisions You support the department, department and department management as a savings partner for IT and data related issues In your role, you also evaluate external consultants as well as software providers and their solutions and develop a structured decision and comparison catalogue The optimization and automation potentials in data-intensive processes as well as the implementation of feasibility and cost-effectiveness analyses are also within your responsibility The conception, implementation and development of continuous data flows – from data acquisition to reporting – completes your exciting task

You have a degree with a focus on finance and ideally have a complementary qualification in the field of data science or data analytics You have already been able to gain relevant professional experience in a comparable function in an internationally operating industrial company In addition, you bring a pronounced process understanding in the finance sector with You have profound experience in the transformation and digitization of financial processes as well as in the handling of integrated ERP systems. You have sound IT and data know-how You inspire data-driven process and automation solutions and have a high affinity for digital technologies You are characterized by pronounced conceptual skills and a high level of implementation and stamina You convince by a strong communication and coordination capability and work successfully with different stakeholders You communicate safely in German and English – both oral and written
