Senior Expert Ground Operations (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

• Representation of business interests in aircraft handling, authorities and network worldwide
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards in ground operations
• Consultancy and support in station openings and development of operations
• Coordination of all HUB stakeholders to ensure smooth processes
• Performance monitoring of commissioned service providers and interface partners
• Processing of irregularities in aircraft and warehouse handling
• Participation in international bodies such as IFQP to further develop the company
• Participation in the development of operational IT solutions for optimized processes
• Implementation of a continuous sustainability approach for resource management

Your qualifications:

That's what you bring

• Successfully completed studies in economic engineering, logistics management or aerospace technology
• Experience in Airline Ground Operations of a Freight Company or Cargo Hub Management
• Knowledge of standard processes and methods for soil operation according to IATA industry standards desired
• Knowledge of warehouse and customs processes is required
• Experience with railway opening procedures and railway management functions necessary
• Very good knowledge of legal regulations such as LBA, EASA, Regulation (EC) [for phone number see the original ad], ICAO/IATA regulations required
• Flowing English in Word and Writing as well as communication skills in German; other languages of advantage
• Very good knowledge of common IT platforms required for process optimization
• Ready for extended service trips with Homebase Leipzig
