At the next time, we are looking for you as a metal manufacturer:in / civil engineering specialist:in as a superstructure welder:in (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG Regional repair at the Halle (Saale) site for the Leipzig network. Your tasks:

• You carry out qualitative welding and grinding operations as part of maintenance measures on rails and parts of the switch, e.g. at the heartpieces
• These include, inter alia, measurement work and the production of insulation joints in the operating track
• Together with your team, you will ensure the efficiency of the performed activities
• Thermite and arc-hand welding and cutting work are carried out independently after the completed courses
• Examination of the operational capability of the assigned devices, tools and vehicles you need for your daily activity is part of your work portfolio as well as cooperation with the team leader:
• Your action radius extends primarily to the Leipzig network
• You work mostly outdoors

Your profile:

• You have a successfully completed training as a track / civil engineering specialist:in, Metallbauer:in, Schlosser:in or in another metalworking profession and already brings knowledge as a superstructure welder:in with
• For internal qualifications, you bring a lot of commitment and the necessary readiness to learn
• You like to work outdoors and are ready for shiftwork (night, weekend and holiday work)
• Class B licence is available, it would also be advantageous to use the C1 licence. If you do not own it, you can purchase it with our support.
• You are a:e Teamplayer:in and your colleague:inside you can rely on you
• Your physical fitness is checked by our operating physician, when hired,
