You plan and control the commissioning of ship operations facilities on board new buildings and thus ensure a smooth project sequence until the final handover. Through the targeted coordination of all the units involved, you ensure that systems are efficiently integrated and put into operation on time. You continuously monitor compliance with project milestones and actively contribute to ensuring time, quality and functional targets. In close coordination with the project management, you act as a central interface and drive technical decisions and solutions forward. The execution and monitoring of test drives allows you to validate and optimize the performance of the systems under real conditions. You pass the systems and systems professionally to international end customers, ensure understandable technical communication in English and document all phases of the project in order to ensure transparency and traceability.

You have completed engineering studies in the field of ship operations engineering, shipbuilding, marine engineering or a further training on the technicians of ship operations engineering. In addition, you will ideally bring an additional qualification, for example as a ship mechanic, to safely master practical processes on board. You have already been able to gain professional experience in the maintenance, maintenance or commissioning of naval operating systems such as drive, energy or supply systems and ideally have sea time. Knowledge of the project environment and a secure understanding of technical processes in shipbuilding enable you to work in a structured and targeted manner.
