Develop and optimize assay technologies and protocols. Design and implementation verification and validation plans. Establish and maintain research infrastructure. Manage operations laboratory and ensure compliance with good laboratory practices. Train and mentor new lab members and technical assistants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific track record in at least one of the following areas, a broad technological background and a solid understanding of at least some of the following areas: molecular biology, genetics/genomics, spatial biology, multiomics, phenomics, and next-generation disease models. Ph.D./Dr.rer-nat. in biochemistry, chemistry, or biology. Expertise in techniques such as ELISA, Western blotting, FLPC, IF (ICC, IHC), FISH, RNA/protein codetection assays, NGS, CRISPR screens/gene editing, single cell analysis, cytometry/FACS, spatial biology. Experience with imaging-based assays and modern microscopy platforms (e.g., confocal microscopes, light sheet microscopy). Strong lab management skills. Experience leading a team of scientists, user training, and/or teaching.
