Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

For our intensive care centres at the Katharinenhospital site, we are looking for a qualified healthcare and nursing professional with bachelor's degree (m/w/d), also with a specialist course for anaesthesia and intensive care, which our nursing team actively supports and contributes to the design and optimization in the scientific field of the station. Patients are treated at the stations with a wide range of intensively responsible illnesses, including neurologic, internalist and operative nature. Possible applications would be:

• Hospital Katharinenhospital - E2W pulmologische Intensivstation Our care concept follows the holistic area care and is based on the care model according to Roper-Logan-Tierney. This is supported by the specialist and kinesthetic competence of our employees. Your main tasks include:
• Execution and support of our patients in diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Preserving basic and treatment care and carrying out care interventions on a medical arrangement
• Patient care and monitoring: before and after intervention
• Pre- and post-interventional care and monitoring
• Implementation and monitoring of infusion therapies
• Detection of emergency situations and independent start of reanimation measures
• Controlling pain therapy
• The monitoring and care of the patients: inside and dehumidification of the respirator
• Continuous renal replacement procedures
• Control of wounds and implementation of needs-based association changes
• Planning and organization of the daily workflow
• psychosocial accompaniment and advice from patients:
• Use of specific and case-related screening and assessment instruments
• Acquisition and Evaluation of Complex Care and Supply Situations
• Implementation and continuous networking of nursing and practice-based findings in practice
• Identification of potential for improvement in nursing care and development of practical issues
• Participation in the role development of the Bachelor in clinical care

Your qualifications: • You are examinated health and nursing professional with Bachelor degree (m/w/d) of the program Care Science or a comparable degree programme

• You have professional experience and expertise in intensive care
• Existing course for anaesthesia and intensive care would be desirable
• You have organizational competence and responsibility
• You have comprehensive nursing skills and enjoy the profession
• Commitment and team skills are of course for you
