WindMW Service GmbH has been operating a service station on Helgoland since 2014 for the operation of the Meerwind Süd|Ost wind farm, which is about 23 km north of the island. Thus we make a significant contribution to the efficient supply of regenerative offshore wind energy in Germany.

Are you ready for the island? On Germany's only high sea island Helgoland we offer you an exceptional workplace. For our accommodation in the former Hotel atoll Ocean Resort – currently from our approx. 50 to 80 employees – we are looking for a home technician w|m|d.

Together in the team, you will ensure smooth operation of building technology (heating, ventilation, sanitary, electrical, safety, etc.) for the atoll as well as its exterior facilities, take care of maintenance and maintenance work as well as if necessary. Repairs: Technical coordination: You accompany technical projects, renovation and reconstruction work and monitor the execution. master activities: You also accumulate themselves, for example with smaller sanitary problems such as driping water taps, repair of door locks and windows, when exchanging lighting means or transporting furniture and inventory. Building technology: Certainly check technical installations such as heating for their functional capability. Guest room: In the course of room control, you exchange, among other things, defective equipment for technical defects. Warehouse organization: In the hotel's own warehouse, you also support us effectively and ensure that tools, equipment and other materials are available. Documentation: You are fit on the PC – you can capture all technical processes and work properly and use the common office programs for this. Standby service: In case of emergencies and technical disorders, your quick action is required – you are ready to use.

Qualification: You have a technical or crafted training for gas and water installer, plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air conditioning, electronics for energy and building technology w|m|d o. Experience: You were able to collect professional practice in the maintenance of supply technology/technical building equipment, as part of an object service. Technical expertise: In the areas of electrical, sanitary, heating and climate, you are well known. Hands-on-Mentality: Due to the island situation, external service providers are only available to a limited extent – you can pack your own in case of repairs, maintenance or painting. Teamwork: Whether college, hotel management, visitors or island communities – you work closely together on technical issues and always communicate solutions. Flexibility: You are willing to participate in our call service for emergencies – also with operations outside the regular working hours, which are of course extra remunerated. Weather resistance and resilience: Work on wind, moisture and reduced mobility is not yours.
