Hygiene inspector (m/f/d)

Munich is a lot, especially a world city, a community and a task. Munich needs people who want to work for this city with more than 1.5 million inhabitants and to help shape the state capital with their professional tasks. Around 43,000 employees already ensure that everything works well in Munich: not only in the administration, but also in the removal of waste, in transport planning, in the social-bourgeois houses, in the urban nursery, in schools and kitas as well as in many other fields of application. As a hygiene controller, you are active in the field of infection protection and are involved in the prevention and control of communicable diseases.

Your tasks include:

• independent investigations in case of reporting diseases under the Infection Protection Act (IfSG) and the initiation of necessary measures;
• telephone, written and personal contact with sick persons, contact persons, medical institutions and other bodies involved;
• Enlightenment and advice on infectious diseases, transmission routes and necessary hygiene and prevention measures;
• carry out on-the-spot investigations and external services, provided that this is necessary in the context of infection or outbreak,
• cooperation with hospitals, medical practices, schools, daycare facilities, community institutions and other authorities,
• Initiation and monitoring of necessary measures to prevent the spread of infections;
• Examination, detection and documentation of reporting diseases,
• independent investigation, documentation and advice on outbreaks and assessment of the hygienic situation in affected facilities.

You have to bring a successfully completed training for the hygiene controllerin or a successfully completed training in the medical or food hygiene sector with the willingness to develop into the hygiene controller.

The activity requires an independent, careful and responsible procedure and good oral and written expressability.
