Heat and energy are our contribution to the quality of life – every day new. As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we supply the capital with electricity and heat in a climate-friendly manner. Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,300 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For this challenge and the associated tasks, we need people who are fully committed to our common goal of a local heat transition – people like you.

As an application consultant, you are the central contact person for the support and further development of our SAP HCM landscape and adjacent HR systems. Your focus is on pay billing, but you also work on projects to digitize and optimize personal business processes. You act as a link between IT and HR and brings your expertise into complex system landscapes. Your tasks You are responsible for the support and further development of the SAP HCM module, in particular in the area of PY (Payroll). You are responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of requirements from the HR field. You take over the implementation of customizing as well as coordination of developments. You will ensure the statutory and tariff requirements in the billing. You support monthly and annual work in the SAP HCM. You are responsible for the 2nd level support and the training of key users and users. You are actively working on projects to further develop the entire HR system landscape (e.g. interfaces, cloud solutions, self-service portals).

Your profile Complete study of (economic) informatics, business management or comparable qualification Found professional experience in the SAP HCM module with focus on Payroll (PY) Relevant knowledge in the mapping of accounting processes, types of wages, schemes and rules Experience with adjacent modules such as PA, OM or time management and ideally knowledge in integrations with other HR systems Secure understanding of current legal requirements in the area of Payroll Analytical thinking, structured working and high service orientation Communication strength, team capacity and initiative German language skills in word and writing
