The Schwarz IT is the central IT service provider for the selection, deployment, operation and further development of IT solutions for all divisions of the Schwarz Group, such as LIDL, Kaufland, PreZero or Black Production. Your tasks

• You design software and cloud architectures and develop software for various computer vision applications
• You write efficient and runtime optimized code in C++ and Python
• You apply modern software design principles like SOLID, DRY, KISS.
• You are responsible for designing and implementing software tests of various types (unit, integration, end-to-end tests) to ensure software quality.
• You are part of a focused product team and contribute to its success
• You proactively drive the development of a computer vision platform that allows machine learning algorithms to be quickly and efficiently put into an industrialized state

Your profile

• Practical knowledge of object-oriented programming with Python and C++, as well as container applications (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud technologies (GCP, Azure or comparable providers)
• Very good knowledge of the design and development of software architecture and software for computer vision applications
• Experience with various test methods and frameworks (e.g. pytest, gtest, JUnit).
• Very good understanding of the operation and provision of software artifacts (CI/CD, DevOps, MLOps)
• Ability to understand complex questions and scenarios, to analyze in detail and to present the findings to a non-technical audience in a comprehensible manner
• Pleasure to work in the team and it's up to you to coordinate and implement topics independently and purposefully
