Union Investment's AI competence centre focuses on the development of innovative AI solutions. In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced platform engineer (m/w/d) at the next possible time, which will support our platform where we operate productive AI and advanced analytics applications. You will focus on the following tasks: Construction of containers and their operation in Azure Kubernetes Service to ensure the viability of Union Investment cloud applications Use of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure provision and configuration Implementation, operation and improvement of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for efficient and automated software delivery Close cooperation with architects for the development, deployment and operation of applications Close cooperation with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists in the development of AI use cases and AI agencies Monitoring and Incident Treatment in the Platform’s Cloud Infrastructure Mentoring and Support for Engineers in DevOps Best Practices

Complete computer science study or in a comparable field with IT reference or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in software development and system operation with modern technology stacks, CI/CD pipelines as well as stable, safe and cost-efficient operation on hyperscalers (preferably Microsoft Azure) Experience in the construction of hardened containers (Docker) and their operation on Kubernetes Cluster (AKS) via helmet and ArgoCD Proven strong knowledge in the construction and maintenance of reusable infrastructure as code (IaC) templates and modules (e.g. terraform) Strong scripting capabilities (e.g. Python, Bash) are of advantage Multiannual professional experience as Platform or DevOps Engineer Your work is characterised by partnership, appreciation and enthusiasm and team spirit We also welcome diverse educational backgrounds and work experiences.
