In the field of stationary youth assistance, the BRK accompanies children and young people in educational housing groups and partly also unaccompanied minor refugees. As part of the dual study, you will gain practical insights into stationary youth assistance and accompany young people in their daily lives You accompany children and adolescents in everyday life of healing educational groups You support young people in their individual development and promote their social skills You will see the design of day structures, leisure activities and educational activities You work closely with the educational team and external departments You support observation, documentation and educational aid processes Depending on the field of application, you will get insights into the work with unaccompanied minor refugees The work is characterised by relationship work, individual promotion and the possibility of sustainably accompanying young people on their way of life

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national. Technicians:in/operator:in You can prove German skills according to language level B2 You are interested in working with children and young people in stationary youth assistance You bring empathy, sense of responsibility and team skills You work reliably, structured and with an appreciation attitude You are open to different life situations and support needs You want to combine theory and practice meaningfully Career prospects: After a successful completion of the dual study, an appropriate mutual agreement is expressly required to take over into a working relationship.
