Engineer / Business Economist in Regulation / Network Management Principle of Electricity (m/f/d)

You carry out the planning and forecasting process independently in the field of electricity, and you start evaluating energy quantities as well as the revenue situation of the company. In addition, you evaluate complex energy-economic facts to determine receivables and liabilities as part of the financial statements. You can independently determine the loss energy quantities and percentages per voltage level and carry out the monthly tenders for obtaining the loss energy (long-term and short-term components). You can recognize adjustment requirements within the current tendering periods at an early stage. You will independently undertake projects to implement new complex legal and regulatory requirements in the field of energy and grid management. You develop new processes and optimise existing processes, especially in the fields of energy volume balance and volume forecasts, and ensure high quality assurance. You identify and develop forecasting approaches for customer load and quantity behavior to optimize balance sheeting and pay costing as well as to support quarterly accounts and billing.

You have successfully completed your studies in BWL or VWL – ideally with Master's degree. In the best case, you already have 3–4 years of professional experience and could gain first insights into the relevant topics. With popular MS Office applications, especially Excel, you work safely and efficiently. Business, regulatory and networking issues are of interest to you – and you are delighted to actively shape strategic issues. Thanks to your analytical thinking and your rapid understanding, you can find yourself quickly in complex relationships and large amounts of data. You are committed, structured and strong in communication – and actively engage in the team.
