Your duties Development, evaluation and optimization of punching and forming parts for series and new products Design and design of manufacturing-oriented components including tool concepts and relevant process parameters Implementation of feasibility assessments for new designs and components Technical contact for internal interfaces (production, construction, quality) as well as for series and prototype projects Analysis of existing tools and processes to increase quality, efficiency and service life Conducting process analyses including identifying potentials and deriving sustainable optimization measures Cost analysis (design-to-cost) for punched parts Observing technological trends and further development of our technology field Your profile Complete technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, production engineering, precision engineering) or comparable qualification Found experience in punching, bending or forming technology Very good knowledge of the tool and process design Safe in handling CAD data and technical drawings Analytical, solution-oriented and safe in technical exchange Team-oriented, independent working and international readiness Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
