Analyst:in Regulatory Affairs Energy Trading

You continuously monitor and analyze regulatory developments in energy trading at national and European level and evaluate their relevance to the company. Effects of planned or discussed regulatory changes can be explored using scenario analyses and evaluates opportunities, risks and action needs for the Trading & Energy Markets and the enercity Group. From your analyses, you will guide concrete recommendations for the further development of business processes, strategies and organizational structures and accompany their implementation together with the relevant specialist areas. Analytical results, regulatory risks and strategic implications are available for management and other stakeholders. You actively shape cooperation with disciplines, law, compliance, IT, external partners and associations and promote cross-departmental exchange on regulatory issues. You ensure a comprehensible documentation of regulatory evaluations and ensure a current level of knowledge on relevant developments and their impact.

You have a completed master's degree in law, economics, engineering or a comparable qualification. Professional experience in the energy industry, a consultancy or a firm with a regulatory focus. Complex legal texts, regulatory requirements and political developments are analysing you securely and can evaluate their impact on business models and processes. Ideally, you have knowledge of energy trading and the underlying market mechanisms. Complex facts are available to you in a comprehensible way and provide results to different stakeholders. Extensive interest in regulatory issues, analytical thinking, self-initiative and sense of responsibility are yours. In addition, you have very good knowledge of German and English as well as a safe handling of MS Office; Experiences with data analysis tools are advantageous.
