Deputy Head of Division for People with a Mental Disability (m/f/d)

People who encounter social barriers due to illness or limitation, gGmbH supports the desire for participation: We are a medium-sized company in the north of Berlin and provide housing and assistance for people with mental illnesses, dependency diseases and people with a so-called mental disability. We take into account the needs of each and every individual and stand with individual assistance.

To strengthen our management team, we are looking for a dedicated deputy area management right away.

The place includes 75% of the regular working time (28.88 hours/week) and is unlimited.

The area for people with a so-called mental disability consists of:

a special housing with 26 seats with 4 seats as well as a new project with several housing communities (total of 7 seats)

Together with around 45 employees, you will create a living environment that allows for the greatest possible self-determination, participation and individual development – even for people who occasionally show challenging behavior.

Your duties

Support for management in the organisational, personnel and professional management of the institutions Ensuring and further developing the quality of assistance Professional guidance of employees and guidance and development of employees Working with the service and deployment planning Cooperation with members, legal supervisors, cost-beneficiaries and other network partners Takeover of the area management in the absence of the line

Complete studies in the field of social work, medical education, social education or comparable degree Professional experience in working with people with so-called mental disabilities First management experience or motivation to assume leadership responsibility Knowledge of social law, especially SGB IX The desire to further develop our assistance offers Teamability, Responsibility and a Valuable Communication Style Organisational skills and a structured working method
