Our client is a leading company in the production of electricity and heat through thermal waste recycling and disposal. EEW Energy from Waste efficiently uses the energy contained in waste and produces process steam for industrial plants, district heating for residential areas and environmentally friendly electricity for about 700,000 households. With its 17 modern facilities, the company is already contributing significantly to climate and resource protection. Around 5 million tonnes of waste are consumed annually and environmentally friendly. For the Knapsack site in Cologne, we are looking for a management technology (m/w/d) at the next possible time.

Responsibility for the professional, organisational and disciplinary management of the site to achieve the agreed corporate objectives Management and development of the technical team and optimization of maintenance Strategic development of the site including budget responsibility, efficiency improvement and process and cost optimization Control and optimisation of technical and economic processes and promotion of cross-site cooperation Representation of the company to customers, partners, authorities and other stakeholders as well as ensuring working, environmental and safety standards

Complete studies in engineering, e.g. power plant engineering, electrical and control engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering or process engineering Experienced management personality with proven expertise in the operation of power plants or comparable industrial plants Strategic vision with entrepreneurial thinking and a pronounced level of implementation Experience in change management, operational excellence and successful leadership as well as further development of teams High level of economic understanding, decision-making and problem-solving competence Communication strength and safe occurrence against internal and external stakeholders Very good knowledge of German and English
