Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Aachen | from 01.07.2026 | Full time (38 hours/week) | unlimited actively shape the digital future of our network management! We are looking for an experienced personality that strategically develops our control and OT system landscape and ensures the stable and secure operation of our network control systems. In this responsible role, you actively shape the technological basis for a modern and secure energy supply. Further development and taxes: strategic and technical development of our network control system and continuous optimization of the target architecture Promoting projects: managing and controlling challenging projects – from the requirement definition to the implementation including control of external service providers and budget monitoring Operation systems: Administration, configuration and maintenance of our control and SCADA systems and implementation of adaptations, tests and updates Analysis of faults: Analysis of complex fault images, coordination of fault elimination and derivation of sustainable optimization measures Design interfaces: definition and optimization of interfaces in the SCADA environment as well as adjacent systems (e.g. Redispatch 2.0, data management systems) Security: further development of OT architecture and implementation of security concepts in the OT environment Ensure regulatory compliance: compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (including IT Security Act, KRITIS, NIS2) and internal ISMS requirements Designing processes: further development and integration of the Redispatch‐2.0 processes into the operational network management and implementation of audits in the area of responsibility sharing knowledge: professional exchange with internal and external partners as well as participation in specialist meetings and publications

Successfully completed technical university studies in the fields of electrical engineering/information technology or computer science or a comparable subject Multiannual relevant professional experience (ideally 8–10 years) in the area of network control systems/SCADA/OT Knowledge of the energy industry and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. KRITIS, NIS2) Experience in managing and managing projects Knowledge of IT/OT architectures and system landscapes Designed analytical and conceptual skills to solve complex issues Communication strength as well as ability to prepare complex content to address Independent, structured working and high readiness for responsibility
