Senior Finance Business Partner Software Defined Defence (w/m/d) The Finance Business Partner acts as Co-Pilot and driver of the financial performance of the project SDD and is responsible for the financial part of all Hensoldt offers and ensures alignment with all relevant interfaces and customers. The project SDD is steered by a member of the ExCom and concerns all divisions of Hensoldt. He is the first contact person for the project and program manager and needs to connect the different perspectives. Lead and steer the financial project management and develop the business plan for the cross divisional projects with very high complexity, including end-to-end planning and controlling of the project. Act as sparring partner and co-pilot for the project and support the Project Manager from a financial perspective Act as single point of contact for Finance topics as well as proactively inform and align in case of interfaces Align and update the Project Manager regularly on financial project status and proactively challenge project methods to increase quality and efficiency Check Customer's Acquisitions / RFQ and prepare respective commercial proposal Prepare acquisitions, including determination of requirements and selection of projects based on economically and technical factors Prepare and negotiate proposals or contracts with high optimum complexity, including technical/economic/ecological assessment of project realization as well as risk assessment in close alignment with Contract & Commercial (based on defined collaboration scheme) or other involveCs Solve special cases with high complexity in case of customer complexity (e.g. territory or cultural differences) or exports (e.g. control requirements, incoterms and customs, security, offset) as well as in warranty phase Develop and align new business model and licencing model for SDD taking into account all relevant pricing, tax, audit requrirements Prepare complex transversal Calculations / B-Forms for internal project release (RMC), as well as price break-downs for Commercial Proposal Plan and execute projects with high complexity, focusing on milestones, financial project steering, definition of target costs, monitoring of costs, incl. of chances and risks and maintenance of contact to customers Monitor contract fulfillment as well as performance of subcontractors if applicable and resolve critical escalations, including follow-up support in warranty period Responsible for business planning and reporting, so supporting the periodical closing activities for each department Develop and introduce new methodologies/processes for project steering (e.g. project planning) Report project in relevant committees Responsible for end-to-end project planning, monitoring, documentation and adjustments (if required) from a financial perspective
