System Engineer - Operation Platform (m/f/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. System Engineer - Operation Platform (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Nuremberg or Rheinbach.

The CDO SSO CO 1 ITOM 1 ECMP Team Blue department is responsible for conforming the SLA, trouble-free and uninterrupted platform operation and the administration of further applications. These include the products Windows Server, SharePoint, RabbitMQ and .NET applications both in-house and in target mode.

Administration, operation and maintenance of the Bundeswehr platform Responsibility for monitoring and maintenance of the systems used remote maintenance or diagnostic procedures and remote user interference removal Incident, problem and change management in the 2nd level as well as support for 3rd level tickets Maintenance and further development of technical documentation

Completed IT vocational training (e.g. technical informatics for system integration) or a comparable professional experience Basic knowledge of the administration of Windows Servers (installation, configuration, monitoring) Basic knowledge of automation using PowerShell Basic knowledge of using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge of the use of ticket systems and ITIL processes Good analytical skills, initiative, high level of learning and communication skills Self-working and problem-solving skills as well as customer and service-oriented work Integration capability in existing teams, occasional trips to presence meetings Flowing German knowledge in word and writing, good understanding of English instructions and technical names
