BIAS develops laser-based manufacturing technologies, systems and processes in the fields of Material processing and optical measurement technology. It is centrally located in the Technology Park at the University of Bremen and cooperates closely with partners from industry and (inter)national research institutions.

Programming and setting of CNC systems for laser material processing Development and adaptation of controls (SPS, CNC) Independent planning, design and implementation of experimental structures and devices in cooperation with the scientific staff troubleshooting, optimization and documentation of technical systems Support in the maintenance and maintenance of existing plants
