For our SOS Children's Village Oberpfalz in Immenreuth we are looking for a Psychologin / Social pedagogue with additional qualification / Heilpädagogin with additional qualification (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time (38 hours/day) or part-time (min. 32 hours/day) No shift service!

Your task: Do you want to help children and young people with their expertise? In the SOS Children's Village of Oberpfalz we are looking for a dedicated specialist in the field of stationary services, which accompany and supports our SOS children's village families, housing groups and the health education day group with their social-pedagogical-therapeutic work. You can make a valuable contribution through case meetings, assistance and education planning, consultation of the teams and the targeted individual support of the supervised children and young people. In crisis situations, you can help the teams with professional intervention and ensure that each child receives the individual support it needs. We look forward to your application! You help our children and young people in consultations and encourage them individually. You represent the institution in the help plan procedure and implement the internal educational planning together with the teams and the departmental management. You can also support the young people and the teams in crisis intervention. You coordinate cooperation with the families and conduct accompanying contact to support contact with the system of origin. You are advising you with teams to be arranged and regularly participate in their team meetings. The cooperation with the Youth Office, medical professionals, therapists and other external services is also one of your tasks. You are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and responsibilities. Your working time is free depending on the needs and needs of our children/young people or the teams of our educational offers. Your qualifications and skills: You bring a qualification as a psychologist or Social pedagoguein or educatorin with anadvised, traumatized or therapeutic additional qualification or as a medical education teacher with a university degree and additional qualification. You have already gained experience in the field of child and youth assistance. The advice of children and adolescents as well as of employees will give you pleasure. You are able to translate the objectives of assistance planning with the Youth Office into achievable partial goals and steps and implement them together with the teams. You like to work with different target groups and people – whether in individual or team consulting, with children and young people or in exchange with cooperation partners. You have a strong collaborative capability and work closely with professionals, teams and department management. Also in challenging situations keep serenity and prudence. You will also bring about organisational and negotiation skills in dealing with different expectations and needs. Your handling of proximity and distance to the representatives is professional.
