Your tasks:

• Execution of Environmental Audits according to BauGB and Accompanying Investigations according to UVP Act
• develop strategies, concepts and projects for climate change mitigation and climate adaptation for the entire city, for the areas of action and for the deepening spaces in the sense of integrated quarter development
• preparation of technical contributions to individual environmental aspects
• coordination and evaluation of competing environmental aspects
• talks and negotiations with planners, investors and other services on necessary environmental assessments
• Monitoring of fixed and implemented environmental measures, in particular for climate protection and climate adaptation, in building plans and developing new solutions.

Your profile:

• Bachelor or Master of Science Department Environmental Science, Geography, Spatial Planning, Urban Planning or Comparative Study Program with Longstanding Professional Experience
• good expertise in the areas of climate protection and climate adaptation, as well as "energy" and climate-conscious construction" and on corresponding funding programmes of the federal and state governments
• good expertise on individual environmental issues such as noise, air, water, soil and environmental law
• safe handling of geographic information systems (e.g. QGIS)
• Understanding cross-disciplinary relationships and the ability to work independently, systematic and targeted, both independently and in the team
• Negotiating skills, enforcement ability and safe occurrence.

What else you should know:

The employment is indefinitely in relation to the conditions of the public service collective agreement (TVöD). In the event of the existence of the conditions under which the service is to be carried out, an employment in the civil service is possible. A prerequisite for the grouping into the EC 12 TVöD is an at least three-year professional experience. If necessary, a grouping can therefore be carried out at a lower level until this condition is reached.
