Product Developer (m/f/d)

Current market, competition and target group analysis in close cooperation with the sales units to identify new business potentials and initiate new product ideas Development and testing of new product ideas, creation of the product concept including financial forecasts and the business case. Management of the development process in close coordination with the relevant departments, in particular portfolio management, sales/distribution channel LBBW/BW-Bank Close cooperation with the departments of law and compliance to ensure compliance with legal regulations and with other internal departments and sales channels Support for ongoing product portfolio analysis including development of approaches to optimisation or Further development of the product basket, implementation of product revisions Takeover of project tasks in the development and/or introduction of new products and services Creation and maintenance of product documentation, including brochures, reports and sales documents Support in defining LBBW AM’s long-term product strategy

Successfully completed studies of Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Comparative Qualification Further training on CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) is desirable Deep understanding of financial markets with a focus on alternatives knowledge of portfolio management, risk management and financial analysis; Experience in asset management, practical experience in product development and labelling, including market and competitive analysis Confidence with regulatory requirements and best practices in asset management Programming skills and experience in dealing with Python or comparable tools Experience in project management as well as dealing with financial software and data analysis tools such as BBG, Factset, Morningstar are beneficial expressed analytical thinking and quantitative skills to analyze complex data and make informed decisions; strong customer orientation as well as very good written and oral communication and presentation skills Good English knowledge of word and writing strength of persuasiveness, team capacity and strong ability to cross-departmental cooperation; independent and reliable operation with a high degree of commitment and self-initiative
