As an onsite support technician / specialist, you are responsible for the smooth operation of local IT infrastructures at the locations Neuenstadt a.K. and Tamm. You work closely with the central service desk, take technical analyses on site and make sure that hardware, network and security-relevant systems work reliably. Your commitment is crucial for a stable IT operation and a high user satisfaction at these locations. Tasks and responsibilities: Site-related infrastructure support, through close cooperation with the central service desk, including ticket processing in the HALO‐IT tool. Installation, replacement, configuration and troubleshooting of workstation hardware (e.g. PCs, monitors, printers) Disruption on site if remote maintenance is not sufficient (e.g. defective connections, hardware failures) Implementation of IMAC Services: Install, Move, Add, Change Physical network checks, testing of LAN ports, patch work and cable management. Support for external service providers as an extended workbench. Monitoring on site, access control to server rooms (only at selected locations). Rollout of new equipment, including physical cabling, commissioning and testing Support in the operation of conference or special technology CMDB-Pflege, incl. documentation, asset tagging, updating hardware entries after exchange or excerpt.

Complete training in the IT field or comparable professional experience Knowledge of PC hardware, periphery and network technology Experience in handling ticket systems (ideally HALO ITSM) Analytical thinking, structured working and high service orientation Ability to independently solve technical problems on site Good knowledge of German and English
