The GIAS GeoInfo division builds a new engineer team for the operation of geoinformation systems (GIS, based on ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise) and weather data processing systems (METOC). The focus is on the extensive and ascendingly frequented systems of the Geoinformation Service of the Bundeswehr (GeoInfoDBw), to which high demands are made daily on geo and weather products to be produced and their provision.
