The LVR field of construction is responsible for the project development, project management, planning and implementation of new construction, reconstruction and renovation measures of the Rheinland landscape association via all HOAI performance phases. Most of these are large special buildings in the field of education, culture, health and administration. The projects are planned and implemented taking into account the aspects of ecological and sustainable construction. Your tasks include: Head of department with technical and personnel responsibility for currently 51 employees in two departments and four teams Strategic management and further development of the department to ensure appointments, costs and quality in construction measures taking into account changing political, legal and organisational framework conditions Head of the department in close coordination with other departments within the department to implement the strategic department targets, in particular to develop and implement a sustainable real estate portfolio Advising the department management, LVR director and political representation on structural issues Representation of the interests of the LVR vis-à-vis planning offices, construction supervisors, beneficiaries and other internal and external stakeholders

You have well-founded knowledge of modern leadership instruments and combine them with a value-adding leadership style as well as a pronounced ability to motivate and develop employees. Experience in working with political bodies will bring you with you as well as the ability to present content in an address-oriented and convincing manner. You think strategically and develop sustainable concepts taking into account political and legal frameworks of the construction and building industry. Modernization processes make you committed, initiate changes proactive and control their implementation target-oriented.
