Overall, the AZV Südholstein operates seven wastewater treatment plants of different size classes and channel networks with a total length of more than 900 kilometres. The main location is the large sewage plant in Hetlingen. Every year, the association cleanses about 34 million cubic meters of wastewater, takes over further tasks in municipal water management and is committed to sustainable development.
