The University Eye Clinic Lübeck on the UKSH, Campus Lübeck, covers the entire spectrum of conservative and surgical ophthalmology. Our clinical and scientific focus is on tumor and retina surgery, glaucoma and corneal surgery, cataract surgery and translational research into ophthalmologists and ocular immunology.

This is what awaits you:

• Heading and supervision of a clinical subarea (by qualification, e.g. front section, glaucoma, retina, tumor surgery or cornea) and an operating activity throughout the ophthalmological spectrum
• Medical supervision and further training of assistant physicians
• Participation in the organisation and development of clinical processes and participation in clinical studies, scientific projects and publications
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with other disciplines (e.g. neurology, MKG, trauma surgery, oncology)
• Participation in the call and standby service

• Recognition as a specialist in ophthalmology and multiannual clinical and surgical experience, ideally with a focus on one of the above areas
• Scientific interest and willingness to participate actively in research and teaching
• Experience in the guidance and supervision of medical staff
