Software development We are looking for an experienced project management for an individual software project in the vicinity of the census and population statistics. In this key role, you control the development and introduction of the IT solution to be created to calculate and evaluate budgetary relationships of the census. You will also be responsible for schedule, budget, quality and compliance with legal and data protection regulations and coordinate the team, departments and external development partners. Their work makes a direct contribution to reliable official population and housing data and thus has a high social relevance. Management of an individual software project (planning, coordination, control) Responsibility for Budget, Schedule and Quality Coordination and prioritisation of requirements with disciplines (requirement management) Coordination of internal stakeholders and external service providers and development partners Presentation of workshops, steering committees and sprint/review terminals Risk management: identification, assessment and management of measures Reporting and ensuring transparent project communication Monitoring of change and rollout measures incl. Transfer to operation and support Ensuring compliance with architectural and quality requirements and documentation

completed studies at a university (Master/Diplom/Magister) or at a university (Master), preferably in the field of computer science or alternatively media or business informatics. Other disciplines are possible if there is a clear reference to software engineering. strong and proven experience in managing larger software projects safe handling of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with hybrid and classic procedures, especially V-model XT sound knowledge in requirement and stakeholder management Experience in Budget and Contract Management and Supplier Control solid technical understanding (software architecture, APIs, basics: Cloud, DevOps and CI/CD, UML) practical experience with project tools (e.g. MS Project, ARIS, Enterprise Architect) and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, GitLab) strong communication, moderation and team leadership skills very good oral and written expressability in German as well as reliable English knowledge (technical) Basic knowledge of IT security and data protection Experience in public administration projects is desirable
